TS38-20 is a proportional pressure relieving valve with a single-stage, poppet-type design that operates directly. It regulates pressure in proportion to the input electrical current.

The TS38-20 valve blocks the flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level that counteracts the force generated by the electrically induced solenoid. In the absence of current, the valve allows free flow from port 1 to port 2.
